House of the Month: The Far Renovation
This project will transform The Far into a bright, welcoming sunroom that takes full advantage of the southern light, with large windows, built-in window seating, and a new expansive deck that creates a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
The interior will be refreshed with updated finishes, a modernized fireplace area with a new wood stove, wet bar, improved flooring, and radiant heat where feasible.
Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathroom will be reconfigured to create a more functional primary suite and secondary bedroom, while improving circulation and access to natural light.
The Pilates Studio will also be reclaimed as a more comfortable and functional space.
Structural conditions throughout the home will be evaluated and reinforced as recommended, creating a more comfortable, cohesive, and functional home for everyday living and entertaining.
