Built in 1887, this historic victorian is a landmark in Windham Village.
Due to an accident leak, the entire inside had to be stripped and repaired. This presented the owners with a great opportunity to upgrade their family home.
Their goals:
Reimagine a family heirloom house for the next generation
Maintain historic character & charm
Modernize the family gathering spaces
With such a large extended family, the owners wanted everyone to fit comfortably in the space during holiday gatherings. A new expansive deck with large glass doors leads guests outside, creating an extension from the generous great room.
