Happy Little Home has been designed to blend cozy cottage charms with subtle contemporary touches to create a warm, welcoming environment for a young couple building their dream home for their growing family.

Focusing on long term living, the plan prioritizes aging-in-place functionality, minimizing stairs while maintaining an open, airy layout that feels spacious and connected

Adjacent to the dining area, a walkout bay window breakfast nook creates a charming, light-filled spot for casual meals.

Nearby, a small built in desk area offers a convenient location for household tasks without dedicating space to a full home office

The home is organized into two private bedroom wings. The west wing contains the primary suite, designed as a quiet retreat with a spacious bathroom featuring a large walk-in tiled shower with rain showerhead and glass doors, toilet, bidet, double sinks, and a makeup vanity which is centered on a large bay window for maximum natural light.

The east wing includes two additional bedrooms for guests, along with a shared bathroom featuring a tub/ shower combination with glass doors.

The design also plans ahead for future expansion and flexibility. Future additions include a two-car garage on the west side connected at the mudroom, which can be seamlessly constructed in a later phase. The plan also anticipates the possibility of adding bedrooms, a screened porch at the rear, and space for a hot tub, allowing the home to grow with the family’s changing needs
