HempWood, a patented material made from low-THC cannabis plants, is harder than even the toughest American hardwoods, more eco friendly, and has a smoother surface. Its inventor, Greg Wilson, uses an algorithm to transform plant fibers - like timber, waste, or hemp - into a material stronger than traditional hardwood. Made with an organic soy adhesive, HempWood is also more sustainable than alternatives like eucalyptus and bamboo. As Wilson says, “We are a more eco-friendly alternative to what is pitched as eco-friendly.”
